I've started a company called Veeper, which is a mobile app loyalty wallet and promo marketplace with Groupon-like deals. We build free loyalty programs for businesses and reward customers with incremental discounts, instead of cash back or points. I've had some positive interest in the concept, with 87/90 of the businesses I pitched to either wanting to pre-sign or test the MVP when it was ready. I've also just applied to a startup competition, where multiple startups win a $50k equity free grant. My current CTO has a full time job, young kids and has been working on the mobile MVP for 6 months and shared with me the login still isn't finished. So, I'm shopping around. Created by a Harvard MBA and hedge fund investor, we take a no-bs approach to wellness. Over the past year, our web-MVP has generated rave reviews. You would be joining at a stage where we are applying all the feedback we’ve gotten into a v2.0 mobile app. We operate as a fully-remote team of designers, marketers, and product people who are currently hard at work organizing a rebrand and relaunch. We are now searching for our first full-time hire, a full-stack engineer who has experience building and launching iOS or hybrid apps from scratch. Design/Prototyping is completed and development is underway with freelancers using React Native and Node.js. Brown University Mahjong Club is looking to use technology to make the game of mahjong more accessible to the Brown community and beyond. We are looking for individuals with a passion for mahjong, computer science, and UI/UX design to join Brown University Mahjong Club as summer software engineers to create a digital platform where individuals can engage in live mahjong gameplay with others.
