Interns will also build predictive models for Chess.com's premier event coverage for both online and over-the-board events.
With a growing community of 34 million members, Chess.com's mission is to promote online chess on an international level. As the world's leading chess website, Chess.com hosts over 7.5 million games every day, and keeps each of our members connected through our core products. Our company is built on hard-working chess enthusiasts that are driven by our mission to connect users to their communities, opportunities to learn, and most importantly, a place to have fun.
Starting in 2020, Chess.com is starting its first-ever internship program for college students around the world. In our program, interns will have the opportunity to work alongside our project leads and learn first-hand how Chess.com is growing chess as an industry across a variety of disciplines. We're looking for motivated individuals who can think outside the box and are quick to adapt to a remote work environment.
