Austin-based Captain Experiences is a quickly growing tech platform that makes booking outdoor sports guides quick, easy, and safe. People can search Captain for their ideal trip and book with our licensed and insured guides. Focused on fishing in Texas today, we will soon expand to all outdoor sports and geographies. This internship would be perfect for anyone who loves fishing or anyone who wants to gain experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

This position will be unpaid, but we periodically take inshore and offshore fishing trips with some of our guides (mainly in Texas) and would be happy for you to come along if interested. Otherwise, we expect this internship to provide valuable marketing, CRM, and operations experience at a scaling growth consumer-focused startup. Qualifications

The Basics: 
-No prior experience necessary, although a design/marketing oriented mind is a plus
-Flexible hours (time commitment of 5-15 hours a week)
-Hands-on experience working in the fishing space
-Fun and engaging team (and you will work directly with the company’s founders)
-Work from anywhere (we are based in Austin, but will not ask you to come to an office)

The Role: 
-Interact with Adventurers (Customers) via phone calls, email, and text to facilitate trips
-Interact with Guides over the phone to convince them to join our network
-Help interview guides and collect content from them for us to use on our website and in our public presence
-Plan and execute content marketing (blog) and social media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook)
-Help put together video content for use on our site
-Learn and manage our CRM (HubSpot) to help manage our network or adventurers and guides
-Learn and perform SEO keyword research 
-Assist with design and wireframes for the website
