Job Description

Cress Health is a startup tackling an overlooked problem in the current COVID-19 pandemic: the rising mental health crisis. As we go through these uncharted times, levels of depression and anxiety are reaching an all-time high, a demand that our current mental health resources are ill-equipped to meet.

Through the Cress™ suite of apps, combining data-driven analytical tools with personalized chat-based support, we’ve already helped thousands of healthcare workers self-care better during the pandemic. But now, we’re on a mission to empower and support the mental wellness of people all across the nation.

In order to help as many people as possible, we’re looking for motivated individuals of all backgrounds and experiences to join our rapidly expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working closely with various teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, and are interested in developing resources to spread hope amidst the current COVID-19 climate.

Position Openings for Fall 2020:

Product Development Intern (Non-Technical)
1) Work closely within the product development team on various types of projects including product improvement, development, and testing as well as product content generation.
2) Collaborate closely with design team to develop a seamless product experience.
3) Assist senior product development members to achieve overall team goals.
4) Impact and contribute meaningful work that will offer first-hand insight into the operations of a rapidly-growing startup.

Sales Strategy Operations Intern:
1) Develop and execute sales strategies to drive conversion and app downloads.
2) Implement marketing/social media campaign strategies to raise awareness of the Cress mission.
3) Assist senior sales strategy managers to achieve overall team goals.
4) Impact and contribute meaningful work that will offer first-hand insight into the operations of a rapidly-growing startup.
Prior experience in sales/marketing is preferred but not required.

Graphic Design Intern:
1) Create original graphics (e.g. images, sketches, etc.) and visual design guidelines for use by the development and marketing teams
2) Communicate the value and functionality of Cress in design, icons, typography, color, and illustration
3) Produce and manage asset libraries for reusable, systematic design
4) Previous experience with brand or graphic design is required. A portfolio should be available upon request

Audio/Video (AV) Production Intern:
1) Develop audio and video elements for use in app and marketing materials
2) Collaborate with fellow AV team members to synchronize video with audio tracks
3) Prior experience with audio and video editing and sourcing is highly preferred

Marketing Associate:
1) Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy to drive conversion and app downloads
2) Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing outreach
3) Synthesize a public relations/communications outreach strategy to increase public visibility of company milestones
4) Collaborate with the website development team to enhance company SEO
Prior experience in public relations/communications is preferred but not required.

Social Media Manager:
1) Take part in creating a mental wellness positivity campaign with the goal of spreading hope amidst the current COVID-19 climate
2) Create and curate engaging content (i.e. written/video/photo) for various social media platforms
3) Review analytics and create reports on key social media metrics
4) Prior experience with at least one of the following social media platforms is required: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn

Blog Writer:
1) Investigate mental wellness-related topics through primary/secondary research and identify novel content ideas as well as gaps in published content
2) Create and edit content (i.e. blog articles) for website publication based on identified content needs
3) Previous writing experience is preferred but not required. A writing sample should be available upon request

Qualifications

Eligibility Requirements:
1) Candidates should have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
2) Demonstrated leadership, persuasive, initiative, and communication skills
3) Possess a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit

*Note: All internship positions are fully remote.
